Mud bogged

Hello,
My area recieved a lot of rain recently and my camaro bogged down when backing out of a shed. I will need to be towed out or possibe jack up rear end to get myself some grip. I was thinking of getting a 2x6 board and jacking up on the trunk bottom what are your thoughts?

Man you are stuck. I don't see an easy way to get out of that without it ripping stuff off the bottom of the car.

There are times when you can do stuff your self, and there are times when ya just gotta call a pro (In this case, a proper tow truck).......

The money spent on the tow will offset any money you'll spend fixing the damage of trying to extricate that with backyard means.

Re: Mud bogged

Why did you move it in the first place?

Re: Mud bogged

It's not stuck in that photo, you just don't have enough traction to move because it's a Camaro with smooth tires. Simple assist pull for a truck and a snap strap from the back. I'd wrap the strap criss-cross around both side of center section of axle so it doesn't bend an axle tube. And just walk it out easy, no yanking.

The longer it sits in mud the more likely it will become stuck though as it sinks. And for gosh sakes get it out while the mud is wet.... It'll be entombed if you let it dry.

Re: Mud bogged

Does it freeze there often? I’ve driven more than one stuck truck out of the mud on the freeze…

Re: Mud bogged

Wedge some boards under the tires and wait for the ground to dry. The boards will keep it from sinking more and once it is dry you should be able to slowly back it out with some help gently pushing on the B pillars (doors open).

If it is already sunk too far then wait for it to dry, get a shovel, and dig it out.
