Installed a new rear end and now I cAnt get the rear even. it's an inch off. I'm assuming it's the spring clocking but I've moved the low side around to get it to match the higher side and I'm not having any luck. Words of wisdom? The driver side is so low I. CAnt drive it.

are you sure you didn't forget the ring that goes above spring on one side? I usually put a piece of scotch tape on the top to hold it in position when installing. I think the clocking needs to be correct and can't be spun around

Really basic question here … did you torque the suspension bushings (LCAs and panhard bar) with the suspension loaded / compressed? If not, the rubber bushings could be adding an uneven amount of preload. Ignore all of this if you have urethane bushings.
Was it like this before you changed the rear end? Did you measure prior to changing the rear end?
I ask this for a reason, my car and my buddies 92 both sit lower on the drivers side. Mine I don't think has ever been removed and I have original springs. His rear end has never been out of the car and after he changed to lowering springs it still sits lower on the drivers side.
i released the suspension and re tightened and its fairly even now. i appreciate the suggestion. the car does sit lower now though. has anyone noticed a ride height change with the 4th gen rear end swap?
When I do suspension work. I always try to mark where each arm is positioned angle wise. That way when I put new in it’s ride height doesn’t change.
Collision repair tech. Most of what I do it wrecked so doing that helps diag if there is other problems. Insurance doesn’t always want to buy what we tell them.
