They look pretty good. Is this anyone here?
Tempting, but i don't need one. Hope he doesn't mind me posting this pic. https://www.ebay.com/itm/195665818092
Three years ago I helped out with the development on these, I work in R&D and I offered to help work out the bugs. I supplied some samples to a gentleman named ___ ______ who in turned had sent measurements to ______ _______ to 3D print them. The 3D print was sent to me for test fitting, after a little trial and error on a couple different prints the final pieces had a nice tight fit using the factory mounting screws. One of the suggestions that I made was to beef up the areas that were prone to break, namely the mounting points. The black set on grey and black door panels in the eBay listing is of my car. The deal I made with ___ ______ was that I would receive 2 sets of black cup holders, 1 set up front and the second set was after X number of cup holder sets sold, as of todays date I have only received 1 set, I haven't had any communication with ___ ______ in almost 3 years on this, either they didn't sell, or our deal was forgotten, can't say which. Not really complaining as I did receive an almost free set of cup holders that I are I think a good option to spending $$$ on OEM parts that are getting more and more expensive and harder and harder to source.
EDIT:
I doubled checked the Ebay seller in the posted listing is the same gentlemen that supplied the cup holders that I have, Seller is offering these for a lot more than what I was told, of course that was never my call to begin with and I wasn't the one buying material and wearing out my 3D printer so he can charge whatever he wants and of course this 3 years ago, inflation wasn't what it is today.
The OEM and the 3D printed version will look different, something to keep in mind if you only need a driver side which is the more common side to get broken. I think the colors are really close but the texture is different just something to keep in mind.
Names removed, just stating facts not looking to doxx anyone.
Some of these pictures are from earlier prints, the surface finish is a little rough.

Nice backstory. Have you ever or are you using the set they gave you? Any long term feedback? Does the little cap not fit into the top mount? It kinda looks like it won't in the pics.

I can take some more pictures if you'd like.
I am currently using the final set that I received from them. The final set that I received came with a 3D printed cap/cover for the top bolt, it does have a nice interference fit.
I really can't give you any real long term feedback yet as I haven't put a single mile on this car in 15 years, I hope to soon though. For what it's worth the material used for the 3D print feels like it's a denser material than the brittle plastic that the OEM pieces are made of so I would imagine the 3D print versions would be able to take more impact than the OEM pieces, pure speculation on my part.

Some more pic I was never really happy with the two tone so I went all black The top bolt cap/cover fits pretty good but there’s not stop to it as in it will go past flush as I found out on the driver side The bottoms not so great but nobodies really gonna see it, I suppose if it really bothered me I could sand it down.
tures
Thanks for the pics. They look really good, even up close. They look slightly translucent. Id be tempted to paint them.
Hopefully they can take the heat repeatedly. I also like how they triangulated the cup/pocket area.
They ones you have look pretty bad to me, though the ones on ebay look cleaner. The listing doesn't state what sort of material they use for the 3d print. I'd accept nothing but ABS or maybe ASA for interior use.
They seem overpriced regardless of the material used, but if it is selling fine, then it is priced right.

They are not translucent, though I have not put a flash light to them
For the time being I'm alright with the finish, At some point I may sand them smooth and clear coat them.
