Rear View Mirror Torx and Connection Cables
My mirror fell off from the windshield.
Does anyone know how to disconnect those electrical cables from the mirror?
I remember having to connect them when I had to pick up the car from the body shop as they forgot to put the mirror back on. Now I need to detach those cables because the mirror is dangling from the ceiling.
My next question is how to tighten that Torx screw to secure it. What Torx screw size do I need for the rear view mirror?
I am not a mechanic, yet I believe it to be a Torx type screw as it looks like a six-pointed star.

Harness plugs into the back of the mirror. Disconnect by pushing down the lock clip. Torx is either 15 or 20mm.

Thank you for the immediate reply.
Is there a "how-to" video? I am having a difficult time pressing those little gray buttons.
There is one in the front and another in the back. Are they supposed to be pressed simultaneously?

Dont know of any grey buttons. Maybe you have an aftermarket mirror. Try you tube for a vid.
