Climate Controls busted

So, the Climate control in my 92 Camaro does work. The problem is the temp adjuster. It stays on a max heat setting, but when I slide it over to the max cool side, it springs back to the center. Any way to fix this without having to replace the entire control panel?

Re: Climate Controls busted

It's probably the temperature control cable binding up.

Re: Climate Controls busted

Remove the hush panel on the passenger side dash. The cable connects there to the vent it controls. Might be something binding there as mentioned.
