Remove the Rear View Mirror from 1984 Firebird T/A
How? I do not want to disturb the actual metal mount glued to the windshield.

Hey Gerry - There should a set screw on the black base of the mirror that mounts on the glass. Can't remember if it is an allen wrench or something. Once the screw is loosened the black base of the mirror should slide up off of the mounting tab of the glass.

I uncovered the car & u are correct. It is an allen set screw. Tkx for responding
