Not your typical dash pad repair.

So I screwed up my dash pad.

For years i had a satellite radio antenna attached to my dash pad with double stick mounting tape. I took it off and with minimal effort the top layer of the dash pad broke off. It's right in the middle of the dash almost up against the windshield.

Fortunately it was a relatively clean break and if I press the broken section back in its almost invisible.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a glue or epoxy to hold the patch in?

I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't start to pull away and lift up like cracks normally do!

Re: Not your typical dash pad repair.

Black RTV gasket material on the underside, clean up what squeezes through the cracks with mineral spirits.
