Refinished the door panel

Did a redo on my door panel with black Alcantara and charcoal grey piping. It's padded up a bit so it's nice an plush. Just need to touch up the top right corner with a bit of SEM and it'll be good to go.

Thanks. Those aren't Q-Form. I made those back in 2009 out of my own factory kick panels and a t-shirt. Wasn't a bad project to do. They've been recovered since in a nicer vinyl.

Love the way your door panels turned out.

Always wanted to do a set of the one piece molded door panels in Beechwood Tan like you did yours with a set of these seat covers but in leather.

Re: Refinished the door panel

Any tips on how you did it? You know something like a quick diy post on how you recovered them?

The entire black section is on a 1/8 inch piece of plywood. The plywood is fastened to the door using those fir tree panel clips. So a few holes were drilled to accomodate them. I had a local upholsterer wrap the plywood with a little foam to give it some dimension, and Alcantara and the grey piping.
