I am offering this engine and trans combo for sale. It is from a 2001 Z-28 with 160,xxx miles on the car. I bought the car at auction with the intent on using the drivetrain for my LS1 swap. I planned on selling the rest of the car to offset the cost of the swap. I ended up taking a chance on another 2001 SS SLP with unknown miles. Turns out the SS had 72,000 on it. So the choice of engines to use is a no brainer for me. Now I need to liquidate some crap.

The car ran and drove before disassembly of it. I have video of when I first cranked the car.

I really would like to sell as a complete unit seeing as how this package is the least painful to swap into a third gen. It is complete with all items pictured including harness, ecu, manifolds, cats with O2 sensors blah blah blah.

Just FYI this engine does have the LS6 intake and the LS6 block.

I do not want to ship this thing but might be willing to meet someone for a small fee. I am located in West TN 38017.

 

Put it on craigslist, someone will snap that deal up quickly. If you were closer to NC, Id buy it. 14hr drive doesnt sound too appealing though

Would be a shame to part a complete drop in assembly. PITA to compile pieces. Not to mention expensive.

How Far East would you be willing to drive? Id pay the extra gas ahead of time and put a deposit on it

 

Open to shipping? I could wiggle a little on price to ship if you would be willing to give a little on shipping. I don't mind driving some, but don't want to if If I don't have to, plus time is valuable for both of us I'm sure. I don't know much about shipping big items like this but I could look into it and see if it would be worth it. It is not a problem for me to get it to a freight line on a trailer. Let me know what you think.
