I just finished swapping in a LT-1 from a 95 Impala police special. The motor starts right up and runs perfectly about 10-15 seconds and then its like the Injectors shut down. I have great fuel pressure and its not showing any codes. Does anyone have a suggestion where to start?
Thanks

did u have the vats disabled? if not get a vats decoder box off ebay for 15.00 that should salve the problem. i had the same problem when i started mine the first time.

Yes I have the VATS bypass but I don't think it ever was enabled because the car used the same key for the ignition and the doors with no little chip on it. Would yours start but not keep running?

I hooked the blue wire to the dark blue from the ecm and the red to 12vlt power and black to ground. The little light on it is on.??

that should be right. thats how mine is hooked up. do u know what your fuel pressure is when it is running? actually have a quage hooked up. I am having problems with mine missing bad but it does stay running. go figure. you didnt mess with any of the car side of the vats did ya. like the starter enable stuff?

Get a noid light to check the injectors, don't shut the key off, unplug one injector hook the light up and crank the car....if the light works then the injectors are firing. VATS on a 4th gen LT1 engine (I don't think the Impala's or Police cruisers had VATS) shuts the fuel pump off, not the injectors.

Thanks ssean92 I went back and re-checked my VATS bypass and hooked to a different ground and it runs perfectly. I guess I just needed to hear that you had the same problem.
Thanks again
