Cold Air Induction

I'm swapping the LT1 into my 86' Z28 and I would like to retain the stock air intake setup. In addition to that I wanted to know what I could do to keep that look and at the same time add power such Cold Air Induction and something of that nature. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

first check this out

https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/tech/ramair.shtml

if your LT1 is 92-93 you need the tpi intake tubing. if your LT1 is 94-97 you need the corvette bellow and MAF sensor and then another tube that goes to the ram air thing.

From the looks of the hawks i just need a section of cold air return tin snips and a tac weld here and there. I will keep you posted Jag ...Hawks got 12 hp out of a 305 doing this we should see a good response from the lt's

Thanks a lot. Post pics when you finished. You might be able fabric it better to make it look more original and stock.
