anybody try to fit the 6L truck manifolds into a third gen for a turbo project?

just wondering if they clear the steering box, frame rails, etc before i buy a set and find out they dont fit. It would be much easier to use these then to make custom turbo headers

 

im in the same boat.. was throwin that idea around..

i think it would fit.. not around my car to see what the ls1 looks like in there... heres some in an ls1 car tho

so its either time for a rack or custom headers....

turn them upside down, and i bet they will work. ive seen it done similar with a set of shorty headers.

 

i think you would have a tough time fitting a hood onto the car


after being sick for the past few days being able to search the internet, i think that they will fit with a steering box, it will be close either way i think. Im going to find a set of manifolds and try it in the next week or so.
