lt1 no idle

my swap is almost done just a small question for those of you who've finished the car cranks over starts and if i hit the gas will stay running as long as the pedal is depressed 1/4 throttle or more but about 2-3 seconds after i let off the pedal the car will die its not the vats because i deleted it off the pcm any help would be great ive gotta get it done so its outta my stepdads building so he can store his solstice till he's back from mexico

Did you check your TPS voltage? If that is correct, you may have a bad sensor such as MAF or MAP. Could also be a vacuum leak of some sort or a bad IAC valve.

You know, mine was doing the same exact thing, turned out the original fuel pump relay wasn't giving enough voltage to the fuel pump...I swapped it out to a standard 4 pole 40amp relay and everything is working like a charm now. Also when I hit the gas, it would sound like it was running out of gas as well.

Not saying your wrong but when I did my swap, the IAC went bad and the car would start and idle at 1500rpm and then slowly work its way up to idling at 2500rpm. It was a really weird problem and took an hour or two to figure it out.
