header question

theres a rumor that the mac mid lengths work ok for the swap. has anyone done / used them? The motor i'm buying came with them, so i wanted to know if i couldl use them with stock k-member.

whoops.. i thought i posted it already. I'm doing a ls1 swap. 98 T/A ls1, into an 82 camaro.

no they wont fit, only choices you have are the Hawks/Stainless works headers or modifying hooker SBC headers with LS1 primarys.

Stock LS1 manifolds fit just fine.

Only LT headers that will fit are Hawks

alright, i go with the stock manifolds until i can pay the 1200 for LTs and y-pipe then. that reminds me, does anybody know about the mufflex 3.5" y pipe for the ls1? does that make enough clearance under the car a stock ride height?
