What is it and can i remove it?? (LS1 Swap)

Not sure what this is but i think it has something to do with fuel tank pressure? Can it be removed without causing any problems? I'm talking about the sensor on the front left corner of the intake, has a line going into the intake just before the throttle body. Thanks, Jt

its the evap.. you can vent the stock tank (ur old evap was the charcol canister thing) and remove that sensor and the codes from the ecm.. as long as u dont need emissions stuff

i dont know if that sensor needs the other sensors found on the ls1 gas tank to function or if you can hook the 3rd gen tank vent line up to it and hope it works would have to do a search

well, thats cool. I removed my charcoal canister and lines from the car so guess i dont need it. All the emissoin stuff was removed from the computer so i am guessing it wont be an issue, just need to plug the intake with something?
