Temp Sending Unit

Temp Sending Unit

I just went to AutoZone to get the 98 Ls1 temp sending unit, and i think they gave me the wrong one. This has 2 prongs but the wire diagram shows on wire??? Did i get the wrong one? Help me out guys Thanks

Don't ask for the sending unit, if you want one for the gauge, tell them you need a temp switch instead. They are two different animals.
