Motor Mounts

I am doing the LT1 Swap. The origional engine was the TBI 305. I tried bolting the LT1 in the car, but it sits to high for the hood to close. I tried to pull the mounts off the 305 and put them on the LT1. But the bolt pattern is different. Any Thoughts

The LT1 is from a 97 Trans Am

The factory mount are a direct fit on the LT1. There is a post on here showing location. Check out High Perfomance Salvage, inc. they have good pictures of an LT1 swap.

Ok, so the stock mounts from the 91 305 will bolt to the LT1? The guy "Helping" me says they have different bolt patterns. I have reason to believe he never even tried to swap the block, but was curious if the 305 mounts worked on the LT1 for sure. Looks like I am going to need to find someone to help me do this swap.

Anyone on here want to help me with the swap? I'm in Minnesota
