Need urgent input pleease on wiring.

Ive posted many times about my issues with my speedo not working etc but now I have some more questions and comments so please if you can try and help me.

First issue is that my speedometer to this day still does not work....keep in mind I did not do the LT1 swap on this firebird....it was done for the previous owner and they said they just didnt plug the speedo in....it is electric...and I know I need to plug into the VSS buffer....can anyone tell me where it is, I disassembled the whole lower portion of the passanger side dash and TADA the ecm (I assume) came down when i unbolted it.....which leads me to my next question.....the LT1 pcm is in my interior....so do some swappers tend to just piggy back ecm/pcms??? it appears I have two working in conjunction if thats possible.....I can take pics if requested....

In the end I just really really wanna get my speedo working and Im still completely lost at this...HELP PLEASE!!

You don't need the old ECM. The bufferbox is a yellow box usually where the cruise control module is located at.

If the box isn't there, the plug has a sorta funny shape to it with 5 wires if I remember correctly in it. The Tan or green is the one you are needing.

Im gonna have to have a member up in orlando who has done this swap before look @ it....when it comes to stroking time I think im gonna get a new harness because as of now it looks like both harnesses are piggy backed since there are so many plugs not in use.
