Cam for LT1

I have the hotcam but rode in a camaro the other day and I want a little more.I dont want to go wild I've read where the cc306 dose not have any power below 3500 rpm?? I 've read on here where a couple people where goint to pot a cc306 in but never heard if they did. Dose anyone run the cc305?

the cc306 will make your car faster then the cc305, ull have to keep the rpms higer then the cc305 but it will make lots of power, the cc503 will be in between the 2, if yuo want to go all out them you can get the gm 847, basicly, ther higher you rev the more power you will make, if you want some good info then go on www.cz28.com

I'm going to go with the 306 probably in the summer. That is one mean cam for these motors and makes real good power.

Yea I too was going to go with the 306 but after some time on ls1tech I did not find alot of people who liked it.They said the rpm range was to high.Now myheads are going to have some biger valves and some porting but dosent seem to be enuf for the 306.

Well, with yours being an auto car, it would be a rough cam to run in it. Mine with the 6-speed and 3.70 gears makes it pretty worth having.

so the 503 is between the 305-306 looks like that will be the one I'll get

Yea talked to Lloyd a bunch of times he makes some mean power with his stuff. I just want to get it in the car for now.
