What mounts and xmember?

Anyone using the hawksthirdgen setup? They are selling it for $195.00 but when I look at the picture the tranny xmember looks wrong compared to the spohn crossmember. Or do I have to order the mounts and xmember seperate from hawks? There lillte "kit" just does not look right to me.

I got the hawks motor mounts and xmember. They were the only ones who sold them in black. The only thing that was weird is my shifter is far to the right in the shifter console. I had to add some shims (about 1 3/4" worth of washers) to move it back to the middle so my shifter boot would fit. Other than that I haven't had any issues. I am not sure what caused the shifter thing, it might just be due to the fact that my car is an 83 and most people seem to do the swap on later model thirdgens.

You used the middle hole on the xmember correct? I have heard that the shifter is a little to the right on these usually anyways. I just wanted to make sure the xmember from hawks would work with my t56. And they were not just sending me a stock (700r4) tranny crossmember with their name on it.

Middle hole. I used a stock T56 as well. Motor was from a '98 Z28. Rear end is a completely stock '83 setup. You may want to look into Drews xmember. It's designed so you can run you exhaust much easier and you will gain a LOT more clearence. The only issue I have heard of with it is if you are runnig a tourque arm that attaches to the xmember there is not a spot for it. Someone on here modified the drews xmember to work with his tourque arm so it can be done if necessary.
