Any one know how much of an increase in compression it would make going from the 71cc head of a 6.0 (9.5:1 compression) to the 69.8cc head of the L92s? I know it would be much, maybe something like 9.6or9.7?

I mean with the stock 6.0 shortblock, the GM L92 heads, L76 intake, and LT headers.

Re: Stock LQ4...??

lq9 is in the escalades and such and has a 10.5 i believe and the lq4 which you get out of the lesser trucks has a 9.5 to 1. The change is due to the lq4 having dished pistons and the lq9 has flat tops. i wish i knew the chamber volume

Re: Stock LQ4...??

SLP offers a kit now that has 64cc chambers (L92 heads). That should get the compression up...lol. Don't know how much, though. If I could get a good used 6.0 motor, I know what I'd do.

Re: Stock LQ4...??

I'm planning to run right around 11:1 when I get to do the build. Along with a 234/236 .595/.598 cam on a 112 LSA. Should be pretty nice.
