anyone have Hawks Long tubes with 3in collectors
Does anyone have Hawks LS1 swap headers installed. I would love to see some pictures. I am pretty sure I will need the 3 ich collectors for my L92 top end 370 but I hear there are clearance issues and its almost impossible to make a y-pipe. I would like to run true duals and would notch my frame rails if necessary but would like to know how close they come to the crossmember mounts. I have a spohn torque arm mount crossmember. Any advise, suggestions, or pictures would be greatly appriciated. Thanks.

I have 3 inch collectors on mine. Mine originally came with the 2.5 inch collectors but I cut those off and welded some stainless 3 inch ones on. I had to angle them in slightly to get the needed clearence to the frame rail, but it fits and work great, no rattles!!!.

Hey, thanks for the pics. I couldn't see them on my other computer but they work fine on this one. That setup looks really nice. I don't think that there is any way to make those clear my spohn crossmember though. Who makes the crossmember you have installed on there or did you make it yourself? Oh and anyone with these headers with 3inch cololectors straight from hawks- did your headers fit this well? Thanks.

I made that crossmember myself...have no idea if the Spohn one will fit.

anyone make a cross-member to clear the 3 inch collectors? I'm thinking of hacking my Spohn x-member for the benefit of making a y-pipe with less bends and for better flow.
also, any ground clearance shots of the 3 inch collectors?
