Re: t56 crossmember?
I had to put the bolts in on one side very loose, then put up the other side to get all the bolts started.

Re: t56 crossmember?
i did that, but then you can barely even see the holes on the other side. i dont know if they are just drilled wrong or maybe motor is not aligned up right.

Re: t56 crossmember?
The motor is probably aligned properly but the tranny crossmember is just poorly built and in general doesnt fit right. Just keep trying and you will eventually get it to fit somewhat

Re: t56 crossmember?
i guess i can always slot the holes out more, but damn. you would think these high dollar swap parts would fit better. but all cars are different.

Re: t56 crossmember?
If it doesn't fit right, you may want to call Spohn about it and see what they say (dont' e-mail, calling is better) And also, it's possible that the body is twisted and the subframes just don't line up exactly like they used to.

Re: t56 crossmember?
ive had two different crossmembers and i had to barely start all 4 bolts before it would line up... might take a turn at a time but it should go

Re: t56 crossmember?
i tried it tonight without the trans mount and the holes match up on both sides. i guess i can drill out the center hole for the mount a little more

Re: t56 crossmember?
take the mount and flip it around the other way... if its the lt1 style mount flipping it around will let it slide through the hole on the x member
