k member/rack and pinion with lsx swap headers?

ive got a PA k member in the car along with hawks lsx swap long tubes.
im done searching. i cant do it anymore.
ive found very good angle shots to work from, but im afraid i may be in a pickle.
it appears the steering shaft will have to go under the motor mount by most pics ive found. at this angle, i might have issues with my headers and a steering shaft not getting along.

anyone out there have a rack and pinion completed with a set of the hawkks headers?
any info is appreciated.

Re: k member/rack and pinion with lsx swap headers?

didnt get a reply. call bruce at hawks. he really doesnt know the answer either. dont want to pay shipping or a restocking fee on a part that has not been tested.

anyone have any pics installed of the steering shaft with a regular small block header to get an idea?
ive looked for pics and they are usually side angles from underneath, or a rack kit with an empty engine bay.
thanks!
