what does it mean when the car will olny idle when the MAF is unplugged?

Second all mentioned above, if you have a buddy with one that works switch them out and see what happens..

also get some contact cleaner and spray the contacts in the weatherpack to make sure you are getting a good connection.

I have had a lot of new parts be worthless recently, kind of a bumber but seems to be happening more often.

I took the one off my 95 and it has the same problem butt I found the prong was bent on my connector so I will put a new one on see how it works

Ok I changed the connector and it was fine until I turned it off now it is doing the same thing
If I put the one out of my 95 in it has a coed 48 and will not run but when I put the one out of the 89 in the 95 it runs prefect what should I check next

Ok so you should check for vacuum leaks before you start to post scurry but I got it, the canister line off.
