Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.

A stock replacement TPI pump will do the job. A Walbro 255 would do a better job.

Hey, as five7 said, Welcome aboard!

As long as you're going to be going to the work of replacing the pump, I'd honestly suggest that you just get the Walbro 255 pump & call it good. The stock TPI pump will work, but you're going to find it's limits a lot more quickly than the more-capable pump.

And speaking only for myself, I find that I get distinctly annoyed when I have to go back & re-do something...

Re: what fuel pump???????

If using the stock 3rd gen tank, (I have a TPI car) Can I just swap in a walbro 255 lph pump and use a corvette fuel filter for the regulator? Does the sending unit or anything have to be modified for the pump to fit or is it a direct plug and play drop in? I'd like to go 4th gen tank, but can't seem to find much in my area, and shipping is killing me on all these parts I am buying online.

Yes, the Walbro will fit in the pick-up without (major) modification, and you can use a Vette filter as the regulator.

I want to publicly thank Aaron91RS for shipping the pump well-packed, and in a timely manner.

Re: what fuel pump???????

The used stock LSx pump. I need to test my fuel fittings at the full 60 psi. I have a used TPI pump that only makes a little over 40 psi, but the LSx requires at least 58.
