Few "all swap" questions...

So my plan is to pick up a wrecked 98-02 Z28 and source whatever small misc damaged parts or replacement parts I need...

I was thinking that I will swap over pretty much everything functional from the Z28 into my RS, as in motor, trans, sensors, smog equipment, rear end, brakes, dash, door panels... Pretty much everything except the lights, body parts, antenna (Not using one) door motors and windshield wiper...
Would it be easier to just take the entire wiring system from the z28 and swap it into the rs? connect the wires for lights, window motors ect?

I am asking because my under dash wiring is a freaking nightmare...

I'm in California, I am looking for a T-boned non repairable Z28 sub 100K miles.
Unless of course you have a non destroyed z28 at a freaking ridiculous price...
I can find a wrecked one in the $2000-3000 range...
