LS2 Power Steering Line

quick question for those of you that have completed the LSX conversion: I have an LS2 with GTO accessories and I need a pressure side power steering line. Reusing the stock line is not an option (I don't even know if it would fit the GTO pump anyway) since I destroyed it in a fit of rage. Should I get the LS2 hose and then change the steering box end? Thanks for your help.

Re: LS2 Power Steering Line

Is the pump in the same location as an Fbody pump? If it is, buy an fbody pressure side line from RockAuto.com, I think its about $20 and fits great. It is what I am using.

Re: LS2 Power Steering Line

When i did my swap, i opted to run a russel teflon braided feed.

For the pump you need a M16x1.5 oring to 6an adapter, and then you need a M18x1.5oring to -6an for the gear box.

Then i ran 2 90* teflon fittings & bought 3' of line. i think it was around $60, and beyond working flawlessly, they looked friggen sweet!!

Liked them enough i made a braided feed for my 4th gen also

I ran a cooler in my return, so thats why my power steering runs to the front from the outlet.
