will CTS-V accessories work?

GMPP has a complete set-up with all accessories, brackets, bolts and everything needed for all belt driven accessories. It costs $850.00 but everything is brand new which is why I'm looking at this set-up for my 91 Trans Am. Has anyone tried the CTS-V stuff? Looks like the same locations as a 98-02 F-body. This is going on my 4.8L truck motor btw.

Thanks

Re: will CTS-V accessories work?

I am looking at the 'Vette setup, it is the same price but it get the alternator on top and the PS down closer to the stock 3rd gen setup. I havent gotten it or anywhere near ready to try it but I think it will work out better than the low mout alternator.

If you havent seen it the vette setup is pictured in the GMPP catalog, page 215 IIRC

Re: will CTS-V accessories work?

I bought the kit about a year ago, the pitman arm would hit the alternator anytime I would turn the wheel, and the compressor and bracket wouldn't fit either. You'd be better off with the vette kit imo

the vette kit works great, i have that on my ls376/480 i put in my '85 iroc. you need to remember though it is based on the vette spacing and need to therefore make sure you have the right space harmonic damper for proper belt alignment
