LT1 harness: Start to Finish
Re: LT1 harness: Start to Finish
Pocket, I'm new to the forum, is there anyway you can contact me. I'm interested in having an LT1 harness made up for a 94 Camaro to 88 Camaro swap! Thanks and I hope you see this lol!

I like to split the injector banks into two fuses for troubleshooting purposes. All EFI 3rd gens have 2 INJ fuses so this isnt a problem
For classic cars, one wire alt means just the rear lug. They know when to charge/not charge. Newer engines always have control wires for various purposes in addition to the mandatory cable on the rear lug. Counting them makes identification easier since several types were used for LT1s. For your fuse, it feeds the fan relay directly. The alt wire is teed on, with the resistor between the tee and alt so the alt never sees a full 12v. Running any of the newer alts at full 12v (actually 14v) will burn them up quickly

need to put in a fuse for ign 10am and engine sensors 20amp what can i connect to?
So for the pink c100 ign wire connects to the ign fuse 10amp is there a fuse installed inbetween the pink c100 ign wire and the positive for my ign coil? Same goes for engine sensors or should i use the emissions common and is it gonna need a fuse asweel inbetween?
