im working on swaping a 96 lt1 vette engine into an s10, the motor and harness is from the vette, ecm is 95 9c1 caprice, did all wiring myself fired up first try but stalled after a few seconds, ruled out fuel pump not running, was missing a vats module, i have one with matching key from a 1996 grand prix, the harness was cut but i didnt have any problems finding wires. all auto trans wires, except vss, oil level sensor, and oil temp sensor have been removed from harness, i removed the maf but was told that could cause my problem reinstalled with no change. im working on getting a obd diag connector wired up to try for scan tool comunications, been wondering what all could cause the stall? vats? someone has mentioned a second oil pressure switch? digging into it more tomorrow so ill have more details as far as what im actusly loosing
