I bet it sounds awesome in person. Unfortunately, my speakers on my laptop suck, so I can't hear much of anything. Good job on the first startup!

Its still untuned, but it has a 228R Texas speed cam. I think im going to regret going so small, but i really was wanting more of a DD friendly cam. Thanks guys for the kind words, about 3 year project in the making.

Daily drivability is a relative term. One mans race car is another mans grocery getter. What's the specs on the block? 5.3 5.7 6.0, other?

Re: She is alive !!! LS1 Startup inside !!

Indeed, but i've heard cams in the 230+ duration and they don't sound desirable especially with AC. The motor is a LS1 from a 99 WS6, I swapped in some Stage 2.5 5.3 TSP heads and im running a .40 MLS head gasket. So my compression should be around 11:1.

Whats the lift and LSA on it ? I'll probably get a Custom grind from Pat G over on LS1tech, but im sure i'll be able to lay down enough power to do some mid 11's.

I forget the exact lift but it's like 64x/64x and on a 111lsa. It's Texas speed's MS4. And I should definitely be in the 11's after I get my 8.8" from Cam.

Ya it's got a nice chitty-bump. I went with the PAC dual springs, and it has a slight sewing machine sound to it, not bad though. I cant complain, it's a cam only setup with stock heads and an LS6 intake and at the wheels it's 420/407.

very nice!!! sounds great, you need an a/c delete box though, changing spark plugs are alot easier with one...and it saves some weight.

That would defeat the purpose of knotching the K-member for the 4th gen ac compressor =P. I totally agree with you on the Spark plug changing, but im blessed with small hands
