hello this is my very first post. so i put an 1995 LT1 in my 86fire bird. i want to know if thers any thing i need to have on or in the car so a smog reff will pass my car and give me the 95 stamp. also i dont think he will pass it cause i still have the t5 transmission in it...plz, any help will be appreciated. thanks guys=)

The quick answer to the emissions equipment question is, "Everything the car the engine came from had."

I've heard mixed reports on the transmission, but most say it has to be the same type of tranny the engine (not the car) had from the factory.

 

well im going to talk with the state smog reff tomorrow and see wat else i am going to need to pass smog. the car is still not running yet, but he said he will look at the pics i took. this way he can more or less get me on the right path to getting it smog legal.
