Engine mount brackets, just want to make sure

I searched and cant find a definitive answer... Im pulling my V6 and swapping in an LT1. Just so I'm sure, I have to use 3rd gen engine mount brackets (the bracket that bolts to the block) from a V8 thirdgen, correct?

I agree, correct, but may have to modify them.
-If using the LT1 f-body a/c with stock LT1 f-body (or b-body about the same) bracket then you must grind down the passenser side "clam shell" (engine mount bracket) until you have enough clearance for the a/c compressor. Motor mounts and engine brackets go in the SBC V8 locations and must be for a V8 thirdgen. Also K-member has to be messaged or notched for a/c compressor clearance.
-If not using a/c with f-body(b-body) bracket and using the GM a/c delete pulley (or even better the Bowers LT1 a/c delete pulley) then both the K-member and motor mount bracket will not need modifications.

No A/C will be going on here so it looks like I'm all set. Thanks for the info guys.
