Your right on the button, motor was pulled when I got the car. What you see is what I did. But it was a 350 TPI.

 

Since GeoCities got dumped my swap guide is gone. Everything about mine is spread out across the board here.

87 Trans AM was a 305TPI/700R4 car.

86 Trans AM was a 305 LG4/700R4 car.

Thanks for the link... Definitely not against the rules, but since it's not a TGO swap I'll leave it out of the list, folks going through the posts can still find it though.

 

I found a few other links that were broken too and figured what I did wrong... They all should work okay now and I'll try not to screw them up again.

Here is my whole car build, it cronicles T-top sheet metal repair, floor board repair, T5 swap, hydroboost swap, axle build, interior redo, and of course, my LT1/T56 swap. I have to post up some completed pics since I just got the car back on the road.

Car is currently a 355 (.030 over 350) with a T5. The new transmission is still up in the air... T56 or T56 Magnum (T6060). I should be deciding soon, but as of right now, it's still open.

Lt1 swaps are not as involved as a lsx swap but still alot of questions come up. Very good and easy swap to do.

Thanks for the kind words Prokilllsx and I am sorry to hear of your negative experience... I hope it was mostly a misunderstanding, I dont see why anyone would be anything other than kind or respectful for no appearant reason at all, unless they just aren't feeling good about themselves that particular day or something. Maybe you were misunderstood which lead to the negativity, I would like to think people are fairly decent, but there are the exceptions.

Anyway, I hope to see your swap show up here soon, I'll be getting back to mine pretty soon since I managed to get back to work .

Ahh, you know how it is.. someone said something stupid, I responded in like manner, the next thing ya know people kinda missed the whole point because the thread was hi-jacked by egos.
My attempt was to start a thread hilighting LS1 swaps. I even suggested it would make a great stickie. LOL Apparently, we agree.

i also have a question, im new to this site, i have a 1991 camaro with a weak 305 and im puttin a 350 in it what kind of cam should i get for all kinds of low end torque could anyone give me a direct link it needs to be under $250 and a recommendation for a tbi intake manifold and rocker arms, i wanna build it up to 400 horses its already started with headers and does anyone know where to get 50cc heads or is there something better out there, i basically need a whole plan to get horse power naturally aspirated, i wanna spend about 1 to 3 grand over time any ideas?
