One more for ya.. Started out as 5.7 (L98), 700r4 w/3.27 9 bolt, now is H/C LS1, 4L60e w/ stall and still 3.27 9 bolt.

Here is mine. Originally 92 RS 305 TBI/T5. Swapped 383 with a FIRST intake then to a HSR. Now going thru the LS swap with some body work and paint change. Gonna be a slow build. Expected completion of Summer 2013.

EDIT:
Started as a V6 car, however I bought it for $500 as a roller and the engine was long gone. Ran a 383 SBC, then 355, now LS1. I guess it's not much of a "swap" as it is a "project" car.

About to kick my GTA into high gear soon. Pull the vortec 383 TPI and dropping in a 382 cube tuned port LT1 while modernizing the whole car. Oughta be fun. Ill post up when it happens.

Well... I'm not entirely sure if this qualifies (since the thread's on 'Tech instead of TGO), but it IS an LS-series swap into a thirdgen:
VVT-equipped L92 into my '89 Trans Am GTA (with pics)
It's a little unique though, since I'd made the decision to keep the variable valve timing (VVT) feature, which forced me to rethink/re-engineer some things, rather than just slapping the "usual" fourth-gen LS FEAD stuff on there. I've tried to include plenty of pictures & explanations for how I've done things in order to help others who read it... Hopefully it's useful to someone.
(And no, it's not running yet...)

What's up y'all? Been a long time since I've been active on here, apologize to anyone whose 7 year old PM I never replied to. Used to run a list like this myself, nice work keeping it updated. Search my name, tons of threads from back in the day. Current specs are 396 LT1 with T56. Probably selling it soon to go LSx and maybe a 6L90. We'll see how that works out
