Axle/Gears: Too lazy to check!!

TH400 / Dakota Digital / VSS trouble

I have a LQ4 with a TH400 behind it in my 89 and I just tried to install the above sending unit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DAK-SEN-01-4160/.

My problem is there isn't enough room in the trans tunnel to hook the cable up. Is there a different unit that works that has enough clearance? Thanks!
