quality fuel rail AN adapters
Have seen several posts on another site of the earls snap on fittings popping off their fuel rails, anyone have some part numbers for a better choice out there. This is to adapt some TBI fuel lines to a return style fuel rail off a 5.3L I "believe" russell was coming out with some that screwed together but so far have not seen any part numbers or distributors as of yet.

there are new ones coming out very shortly, but they're not part of russell's catalog quite yet. i'm keeping an eye on the 'tech threads to see what happens. however, the clips aren't popping off if they're properly seated - they're failing when the clip is not locked in completely. Apparently its a pretty easy thing to overlook, but this should give you a good idea what I'm talking about:

It appears they're failing even after thousands of miles on them, properly seated and all.

yes but i'd like to swap this 5.3L shortly, and wondering when they'll be coming out....hmmm. I see summit lists one of the fittings now, but none of the other sizes yet.
Re: quality fuel rail AN adapters
Ive never had a problem with the old fittings, if you HAVE to get the car going, Id order the old stuff
The new ones are a positive thread-on lock mechanism vs plastic retainer clip. One works, one is for-sure

pocket, what's the two fittings in the old style, I haven't really researched the part numbers for them. I thought one was 3/8 and one was 5/16 but maybe I'm mistaken. It's the return style fuel rail, figured that was easier on this tbi setup to swap over. I'm also assuming most guys run 90' fittings off these adapters down to the factory lines on the drivers side?

so for the return style setup I'm looking at RUS-640850 and the 640860, gotcha. Guess I'll hold this for last and see how fast I get this thing swapped and ready to go.
