L05 truck to LT1, does PCM need VSS?
I did search but couldn't find quite what I was looking for. I'm almost done with the swap, just need a tune, opti, and new y-pipe to get it on the road.
Does my 94 LT1 PCM need a signal from the vss to run the engine? Any drivability issues without it at all? I'm keeping the truck's 700r4 and wiring up my own TCC lockup harness. Already have the correct TB and TV cable. I am also hoping I can leave the factory vss/speedo wiring alone since it appears to go directly to the dash/cluster. Any insight at all would be very appreciated!

You will have stalling issue without a VSS
Luckily 91 trucks mostly had 4L60E's, and all of them had the modern reluctor style VSS, so all you need to do is run the two wires to the PCM and one to the buffer box/cluster
