Painless LS1 harness... worth it?
Ok, so I've got the fuel system figured out and everything else but I'm down to the wiring. Pockets write up is very detailed and has a ton of information but I just don't feel comfortable with it. So.... I was thinking about ordering a Painless harness, yes its expensive but I'm good with that, to simplify the actual engine wiring. Would it be hard to combine a Painless harness to my stock third gen harness? It seems to me the third gen side is fairly simple, just gages, neutral safety, brake lights, etc...
Also the Painless harness has its own fuse block too.... has anyone went this route? Opinions?

It's cheaper to take your harness out and buy a junk yard ls1 and have pocket do it for way cheaper. Why spend 1k on a box of wires you have to cut up?

Alright, I'll send him a PM then. I'd feel better having both harnesses gone through by someone that knows what their doing anyway... Thanks, makes more sense.

X4 as I was gonna do mine. Im good at wiring but for a job like that i have zero patience for it and I need the car to run soon as im losing my spot where it is ( parents want there garage for winter back LMAO ) so I got to move it to my shop and hour and a half away. He has a quick turn around time as long as he isnt too busy which we all know he can get. It sooooo worth it and the cost is a fraction

Pocket did mine and it was.... "painless". Good guy, send him a PM, he is probably cheaper than the painless harness which would make it a no-brainer.

I sent him a message, definately going this route instead of a painless. Makes more sense anyway. Thanks for shooting me in the right direction, lots of knowledge on this website...
