Transmission lines...

What is every body using for transmission lines for a 4l60e my 700r4 wont fit and i really dont want to bend a set...

I used my stock ones.. They were the screw in compression type on the 700R4 and quick disconnect on the 4L60E. Unscrew the fittings from the trans case and swap them. They were the same threads believe it or not. Did this to use my stock lines.

I tried that and mine wouldnt reach for some reason... the upper was about 3 inches to short

ended up going with braided lines for my setup. although i really wish i had made that decision *before* installing the transmission. wow are those fittings a pain to install on car....

I didn't have any problems mounting the 2000 Camaro 4L60E lines in my car. I have since hooked up an external cooler as well, though.

I may use an fittings anybody know what size the adapter fitting is that threads into the actual transmission?

I just checked mine this afternoon and it appears to be 1/4" NPT. I had a 1/4" NPT fitting and it threaded in perfectly. That's with the quick disconnect fitting removed just to clarify.
