this may seem like a dumb question as the answer seems pretty straightforward to me, but im in the planning stage and want to make sure i get all my ducks in a row here. going to be doing an lt1 with my t5 to start with (upgrade to tko 500 later), and i need to know if you use the lt1 starter or the starter that you used with the t5. im assuming the t5 starter because it is the t5 bellhousing, flywheel, etc etc, so the lt1 starter probably wouldnt line up with the flywheel. am i thinking correctly here? thanks for any help!

 

im pretty sure the lt1 will work and was often used as an upgrade since it was a smaller starter. but yes the t5 should work too
