I'm installing a LS2 with 2001 F-Body acc. into my 90 Formula within the next 2 weeks. I have a couple of questions which I could not find the answers to through the search option. I'm hoping you guys can help. I will be using a 6an FP Reg. with my fuel rails.
1) Does anyone have a part # for some braided lines that will connect directly to my stock fuel lines on the driver frame rail under the hood and have an AN ( or npt) fitting on the other end ? Or the fittings that will go onto my factory hard lines and give me a npt or AN to connect to. I seen Hawks kit but thats to pricey for this build.
2) How do you guys connect the factory power steering line to the LS power steering pump? My factory line is bent into a 90 deg and I dont think it will work.
I'm sure there are more things that will come up through the swap. So if the search button will be unfriendly to me, then I will post back here.

1) I know there are hundreds of posts with the part number. but I did mine differently so I never kept track of it.
2) use a stock 98-02 ls1 f-body pressure line, for the return use a stock tpi or tbi thirdgen line my 89 tpi one was perfect
1) Hundreds? I cant even find one.
2) Anyone have the stock 98-02 power steering pressure line part #?

rockauto and google are your friend

keep in mind when you put the power steering line on..you will need to put a slight bend on the line to keep the line from making contact with the powersteering pulley/belt.You will see what I mean when you begin to tighten the lines into the car
make your own braided lines where ever you feel like running it,I believe Pocket had a diagram of the russel fitting needed on a thread in here. There are 2 diagrams..use the revised one.All the info is on here..scattered so keep searching/reading.Post pics as you progress on your swap

Here's a link for the adapters so that you can connect an AN line to the stock TPI lines http://www.ebay.com/itm/TPI-TBI-FUEL...item4ab612b5d1

1. reposting Pocket's guide

2. 4th gen pressure line as all have recommended so far, tweak a little for clearance.

Believe you're looking for these fittings: Earl's 9894DBH and 9894DBJ fuel fittings
Thanks for all the info guys. I'll take pics during the swap and post them up here.

Heres a pic of mine ( sorry its the only one I have ) with the braided lines that where made for the motor by the previous owner. If you go with making your own

When looking at your pic above. Which fitting on the gearbox goes to the pressure side of the power steering pump? Also be careful and keep an eye on your balancer. I had the same brand and it just came apart one day and went to ****.Originally Posted by 6SIX6

I will get better pics of them next time im at my parents working on it. It is no where near the balancer now as thatsa pic before I tightened them down. I got them with the motor so I hope they dont come apart

I'm not talking about the lines coming apart, I'm talking about the balancer self destructing. Mine just started wobbling one day.Originally Posted by 6SIX6

Took me 2 hours to install the motor and trans from the top but its finally in. I have to finish the odds and ends tomorrow.
I can't tell from the pics, but you're most likely going to want to notch the K-member. The stock F-body type oil pan will fit (from what I've read) but the notch makes it a piece of cake. If you have the right tools and some good metal to weld in, its not really a big job at all.

No need to notch the k member, its a waist of time. I had mine sitting on the mounts in less than 30 min. A engine leveler will save you lots of time.
ps, I did it alone
