What is the threaded fitting for LS1 Camaro fuel filter?
I've been searching for an hour and can't find the specs for the type of threaded fitting needed at the LS1 Camaro fuel filter. Anybody know that?
I need to tee off for a return line but can't figure out the type of connection needed at the filter so I can search for the right parts.

I have one of these o-ring fittings that just happens to screw in to the filter. Coincidence, or not?

There are at least two kinds of o-ring depending on where the seal is made. These are two styles I have.

The right is metric o ring. The left is known as AN o ring boss. They are an fittings or in your case a plug usually with full flow entry...used in high end oil and fuel systems

Thanks for putting me on the right track. Just in case somebody pulls this up in a future search, the parts to adapt to -6AN are the TPI fuel rail adapter kit, ACCEL p/n 74730. Earl's has similar parts sold individually. It is a 16x1.5 to the fuel filter, and 14x1.5 to the return line tee.

Re: What is the threaded fitting for LS1 Camaro fuel filter?
Can anyone list the part numbers for the an fittings I would need to run an ls1 tank, firebird ls1 filter, to the ls1 rails. Specifically I need to know the part numbers for the filter fitting on the threaded side and the "t" that you guys are using as well as the fittings for it. I am planning on doing plastic lines to the filter for now and ss braided line from the filter to the rail. Please help, I need to get these things on order. I have seen the diagram for the vette filter, but it doesn't have the filter fitting or the t part number.

These are what I used:
4 of these: http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...4123/overview/
2 of them on the fuel sending unit (one on the supply one on the return)
1 of them will slide on to the fuel filter, the other goes to the fuel rail. Use these type, not the push on only types, these won't blow off which has been an issue with the other styles.
This threads in to the fuel filter and leaves you with an AN 6 thread to go to your AN nut on your line: http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...0530/overview/
This is the T junction I used: http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...6erl/overview/
I used 7 of these AN hose fittings: http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...690b/overview/
And one of these 90 degree ones down where the fuel filter is to turn at the floor pan. http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...687b/overview/
And this hose: http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...0620/overview/
That is basically your fuel system right there.
What I found worked best for me for cutting the braided hose:
1: Tightly wrap cut location with masking tape 3 or 4 times.
2: Put hose in a bench vice horizontally, with the cut line even with the edge of the vice.
3: use a fine tooth (I believe I used a 32 tooth) hacksaw, using the edge of the vice jaw as a guide, the blade will follow the jaw and give you a nice straight cut. Do not use much pressure as this will fray the braided steel.
Cutting it this way typically I never had to trim the steel wire with diagonal pliers, I would just spray a bit of WD 40 in to the line to as a lubricant for assembling the fitting. I also use a bit of masking tape to make the AN nut end so I know if it has crept up as I tighten the fitting in.

Edit: Yes, and I see you have a fuel leak at your filter. This is why. Use the O-ring style spoken of above and your leak will go away.
