91 B4C 4.8 T56 swap
As many know I wrecked the 89 and now I have the replacement. It is a police package RS, 5 speed with 3.42 gears. I want to try autocross and a cam is in its future. But I also want to see how it will do camless carb only. Ran a 13.87 with the l98 carbed in the 89 with 4.10s, so the smaller cubes and 3.42 will be interesting to compare the difference of the newer tech.
Later I will the the small edelbrock grind, but funds do not permit anyway. 6.0 is going in the TA from the 89 RS, in case you did. OT know and we're curious.
I traded the cammed 5.3 from the 86 TA for this 91 RS, but it also has a 1991 corvette L98 in it that is being removed tomorrow and sold monday with the TPI. I am treading on holy ground to some.
So, here she is, needs 3 pannels that are rather small cut out and replaced that are rusted, the 89 will be the donor.

So, as for those that enjoyed the 89 build, I hope you will enjoy this one as much, even though she will be not as radical, I will try to make this the nicest third I have owned to date. Even will shoot for AC with the carbed setup.

That is the plan, with the cash from the old engine and Trans I an buying a 93 mustang, flipping it to buy a new welder and finish this car and the TA. Have 4 total rust spots to cut out and weld in pannels from the 89.

Will be holding back compared to the 6.0 that was in the 89. But...a procharger will likely find it's way on to the car as well.

Forgot to update...
Sold the 4.8 heads, got some 853 LS1 heads, probably going to mill them .030-.040. Started porting them today, used to use pneumatic air tools. Found a Chinese electric grinder with elongated shaft, i still have my hearing and no air compressor to bother me and wait for it to catch up. Used a variable speed router to control it and slow to a usable speed.
But, the work seems better with the extra control, i am no pro but i do work that is free to me and makes more power. Going to use the edelbrock carbed Ls cam, will need a Performer RPM intake as well. The Vic Jr will work for temporary.
Here is some pics, looks better in person but gives you a idea.

After some castrol super clean:
