NEED HELP!! Issues with 5.3 swap in 1988 rs
I am in need of some advice on my swap that I've been working on for a very long time it seems like. I'm swapping a 2000 5.3 truck engine into my 88 RS and I just got my harness back from speartech (they did an awesome job on it by the way) but my issue is I can't get it to roll over. I've gone through and double checked all my grounds and made sure that the starter was good also. I replaced the ignition switch just last year so that shouldn't be an issue plus my key is turning on the panel and everything else. I did try to make sure the neutral safety switch is bypassed but I could not locate it in the car. Everything that I've read so far says the switch has 2 wires usually purple and yellow but the only wire that is in the center console location is a tan/white wire. At this point I am completely dumb founded in what it could be making it not turnover. Any help on this issue to get me pointed in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks.

tHE NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH IS ON THE front of your shifter if you have an auto trans.

Yes. Am aware that it's on the front of the shifter. I am running the 4th gen dash and cluster with the 4th gen console and shifter. I have looked through schematics for the color and wires for the switch without luck locating them. The only connector I have left that does not go to the window/hatch switches is a plug with a single wire (tan/white) coming into it.
