Re: turbo headers

STainless works makes a front forward set. about 800-1000 a set

They have sbc ones and lsx ones and both should fit the bay. Then put turbos behind headlights or run a single up front somewhere

Yes, just angle the turbo flanges correctly when you weld them on the manifolds. Heat up the manifolds and weld them, do not braze them...

Re: turbo headers

I made a 98-99 fbody work on the driver side flipped, triangle cut off and vband welded on.
Pass side used truck manifold flipped with triangle cut off and vband welded on.
Worked great with tc78 turbo. The turbo was in the area where the rad overflow tank goes. The manifolds cleared the mounts and everything else.
No ac

I'd love to see some pictures if you have any?
How did the fbody manifold fit on the driver side? I know the truck one goes right through the gear box if not mistaken.

Yes, the truck manifold crashes in the gear box. The camaro can clear with the triangle flange still, but depends on the mounts used. I used some of the sbc/ls swap 50$ 3/8 plate adapters. They worked fine. But wanted better sealing and used vbands also from ebay. 2.5 crossover, 38mm 2bolt wg, tc78, hks bov.
Thr pass side used a cast iron truck manifold. I do have pictures on my other pc. I eill dig em up. I used the early stamped 98-99 manifold. Although the cast iron 00-02 should work also. Since the shape is very similar.

Re: turbo headers

i ended up doing this. i know its not pretty but a couple hours with grinder... or days and i'll be happy with them lol 1 3/4 primaries to a 3 1/2 collector. aside from having a cheap flux core welder, i think for my first header build they came out ok.
