89' 700R4 will it work with a 96' LT1??
I've got a 96 LT1 (out of a Caprice) that has been sitting for a bit and a a 89' 700R4 out of a G20 van. Does anyone know if it is possible to get the two to work together? (electrical) I've swapped LT1's before but they were complete matching engine to trans. Any info would be helpful.

Yep, but you will need a detent cable, intake bracket, throttle body add on bracket, Tcc lock up and vss adapter thingy. Or if you just want it in now, it will bolt right up and you can rigg up a tv cable bracket and drive it with no speedo and tcc, but it's not advised but it can be done.
