Will a SBC T56 setup bolt directly to a 5.3?

Basically my shortblock now is screwed up. Weighing the pro's and cons of building a stout SBC shortblock vs switching to a LS motor. I can get a complete 5.3 for cheap, so now I'm trying to price out what everything would cost to get it in the car and driving.

My question is with the trans in particular. I'm currently using a bit of an odd combo. Its a T-56 out of a '03 Cobra with a LS input shaft, 1" billet adapter, Lakewood bellhousing, and a Ram clutches hydraulic throwout bearing. Not a LS bearing though. Can I just bolt this setup to the 5.3 or not? In order to use the adapter plate I had to cut the tube off that the throwout bearing normally rides on on the mid plate. The adapter has the tube built into it. Hope this makes sense. Just needing to know if I'm going to have to buy a new T-56 mid plate, LS bellhousing, and LS throwout bearing or not.
