having a hard time finding a 93 t/v cable

Where can i find the t/v cable for the 93 tpi? it will make my 94 lt1 work with my 700R4, but noone seems to sell it. I have found many companes that sell a universal.

I am almost ready to buy the complete Lokar setup and just eat the cost.

I already have the 93 TPI bracket and believe that I can retain my 84 throttle cable. I am trying to get both the kickdown and hopefully a cruise control setup. Anybody got a good resource for the 93 TPI kickdown?

Pretty sure TPI motors stopped in 92. Stock throttle cable should work fine and I beleive NAPA can get them. Shouldnt be hard to find.

mabye it is and early LT1, but there are posts on this message board that say you need to get the 93 t/v cable to act as the kickdown because that year still ran a non-electric 700R4.

BTW, much thanks for the quick posts on both of my questions. I am mid swap and some of these little things are tedius, but I want tpo get this done right the 1st time.

I beleive you are correct on the kickdown cable. But seeing as I have a t56 I didnt have to mess with any of that. I just got a junkyard throttle cable(if you can afford to get a new one for over $30 just get a Lokar)

No worrys I know how it feels to be stuck on the little things. Hell, I still am. lol

Not completely sure, but I believe with the correct bracket:

You can use a TPI TV cable.
